Kim Wintle elected as Vice President of the Surrey Law Society
We are delighted to share that Kim Wintle, Associate Solicitor in the Family and Child Care Team, has been elected Vice President of the Surrey Law Society – a professional organisation supporting law firms and solicitors living or practising in Surrey.

As Vice President, Kim will be supporting the incoming President James Scozzi to focus on generating new revenue streams for the Society and further strengthening its position as a key resource for legal professionals in Surrey. She will collaborate closely with the team and the SLS Committee to achieve these goals and ensure the Society continues to thrive in its support of members.
Kim’s expertise lies in public law children matters where Social Services are involved with families. She provides vital representation to parents, grandparents, and other family members, often in highly sensitive and complex cases. Her extensive experience includes matters involving Non-Accidental Injuries, sexual abuse, and cases with concurrent criminal proceedings. Kim’s commitment to her clients is unparalleled, attending the Family Courts to personally conduct advocacy, ensuring consistency and support throughout the process.
Trevor Francis, Managing Partner of Blackfords LLP commented: “This well-deserved recognition highlights Kim’s significant contributions to the legal community in Surrey. Her leadership, combined with her compassion and legal acumen, will undoubtedly bring immense value to the Surrey Law Society and we look forward to seeing the positive impact I know she will bring.”
