Kate Lingley qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and joined Blackfords LLP in 2021. She has over 10 years experience in criminal and regulatory law in Cardiff, London and South Wales.
Kate regularly assists clients for a variety of motoring matters, from speeding to drink driving and all issues surrounding penalty point disqualifications. She regularly puts forward Exceptional Hardship arguments to help clients keep their driving licences.
She advises clients accused of high level and complex Fraud, Sexual and Violent offences, along with Youth matters.
Kate has regulatory specialism in representing clients for Food Hygiene, Department for Work and Pensions, Natural Resources Wales, Environment Agency and other regulatory matters such as those of Professionals by their governing bodies.
