Sharon Lloyd was admitted as a Solicitor in 1995.
She has previously worked as a Legal Adviser in the Magistrates’ Court.
More recently she has managed a Magistrates’ Court Department. Her role encompassed the preparation of the more complex Magistrates and Youth Court matters. She has specialised in representing children and young people as well as other vulnerable clients who have mental health problems and learning disabilities. She has experience of dealing with a broad range of criminal matters including:
- Robbery (Youth Court)
- Sexual Offences (Youth Court)
- Serious Violence (Youth Court)
- Contested Restraining Orders and Sexual Offence Protection Orders
- Finding of fact hearings and the making of Hospital Orders
Sharon is adept at the early identification of the key issues in a case, which is enabled by her keen attention to detail. She has considerable experience in the preparation of complex legal argument.
She regularly instructs a wide range of experts, including psychiatrists, psychologists, road traffic experts and intermediaries.
