Prior to joining Blackfords LLP in 2013, Rhiannon graduated with a first-class degree in law and attended a criminal justice, death row and terrorism internship in Oklahoma, USA. She then qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive. Rhiannon represents clients from the police station to trial, and during confiscation and appeal proceedings.
Rhiannon has extensive experience in serious criminal cases, with particular emphasis on large-scale conspiracies, fraud and money laundering. She has represented clients prosecuted by organisations such as the SFO, BTP, HMRC and regulatory agencies such as NRW and sports bodies.
Most recently Rhiannon has represented clients accused of trafficking, modern slavery, historic sexual abuse and multi-handed conspiracies to defraud banking and insurance institutions.
Rhiannon acts with the utmost discretion and is routinely instructed by high-profile individuals who receive substantial media interest.
