Emma Oliphant joined Blackfords LLP in the Criminal Defence Team, Croydon in January 2022, having trained as a Solicitor in a Legal 500 firm and qualifying as a Solicitor in January 2020.
She regularly represents clients at the Police Station and the Magistrates’ Court and litigates matters in the Crown Court. Emma has experience in defending matters relating to homicide, modern slavery, kidnap, firearms and drug offences.
Emma has an interest in Criminal Defence and Prison Law. She has particular expertise in representing young and vulnerable people, in the Magistrates’ Court, the Crown Court and Prison Proceedings, including disciplinaries and Parole Board hearings.
