Security Industry Authority licencing

We also represent those who work in the security industry who might find themselves in a dispute with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) over a licence application or have had their licence revoked or suspended.

As with professional drivers we can often negotiate with the SIA to persuade them that they should re-consider their decision. However, in some circumstances it will be necessary to appeal the decision to the Magistrates Court.

Again, it is crucial that legal advice is sought as soon as possible following a negative decision as the time limit for making an appeal or providing further information can be as short as 21 days.
