Emma Oliphant secures acquittal in Serious Crime case
Associate Solicitor Emma Oliphant secured the acquittal of her client at Woolwich Crown Court on the 12th December, 2024 where the Jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts to both Murder and Manslaughter after less than eight hours of deliberation.
The case related to a shooting on an estate in West Norwood that took place on 27th March 2019. The defendant consistently asserted that he had no knowledge or involvement in the incident.
