Matthew is a solicitor in the Financial and Economic Crime Team.
Matthew qualified in 2012 having first undertaken a degree in law and thereafter a Masters degree in human rights and criminal justice and a further Masters degree in business.
Matthew specialises in representing clients in complex financial crime matters, including fraud, bribery and corruption, confiscation proceedings, restraint orders and extradition.
Matthew has been involved in investigations and proceedings before a range of regulators and authorities including the Serious Fraud Office, HMRC, National Crime Agency, Ministry of Defence, General Medical Counsel and the Crown Prosecution Service.
Matthew is currently part of the team representing a defendant in one of the most complex direct tax prosecution cases ever brought by HMRC, Operation Amazon.
